Many of you listeners might be familiar with a segment I used to have on the Woolful podcast called Man on the Street, well we’re reintroducing this fun segment to the Making podcast and for this week’s “Maker on the Street” I asked the question, “As Spring approaches, what colors are you most excited to welcome back into your landscape?”

Really enjoyed this podcast. I can relate to what she said about Ohio (I currently live here), and I love what she says about crochet. I am a crocheter interested in making and selling crochet garments of natural fiber and environmentally friendly dye, am a teacher, and am also on a mission about how crochet is perfect for garments and home decor. Thank you for sharing your story, Cal, and for all you’re doing for makers!

Spring has sprung! Thank you for the lovely story. The talk about difference between knitting and crocheting is interesting. I am knitter and have not experienced crochet before, but Boxet Bag is very attractive.

Thanks for talking about crochet!! It’s often overlooked as a valuable craft.
